Alpaca Yarn

From the Paddock

Huacaya fleece from champion bloodlines. Undyed, lanolin-free, spun by a three-generation family mill.

The Herd

Our Huacaya alpacas are bred to Camelot Tor — ten-time Supreme Champion. The females were selectively mated with him, and you can see it in the fleece: fine, soft, dense.

The Fleece

100% alpaca, undyed, natural off-white. No bleaching, no dyes, no additives. Hypoallergenic and lanolin-free — good for sensitive skin. Warmer than merino (the semi-hollow core traps air), but lighter. Takes dye beautifully if you want colour.

The Mill

The fleece goes to Fibre Naturally in Macclesfield, Victoria — three generations of one family, scouring to spinning. They do good work.

The Skeins

Two weights, same fleece.
